Welcome to Year 6
Year 6 is a very important and exciting stage in your child’s primary school experience.
In Year 6, we consolidate and build upon their learning through primary school. In addition to working towards the end of KS2 SATs, ensuring all children has the opportunity to achieve the very best they can, we also ensure a wide and varied curriculum throughout the year. Children are give the opportunity to learn new skills, ready for the next stage of their educational journey at secondary school.
The Year 6 team includes:

Our PE Days
Our PE days are: Monday & Friday.
PE Kit includes: Blue/Black shorts/leggings (no logos).
Plain blue or white t-shirt.
Suitable trainers for outdoor activities.
Monday you must bring the appropriate kit.
Friday children are allowed to come in PE kit for our Personal Development Day.

Homework
As children move into Year 6, there will be reading, writing or maths homework sent home weekly.
Children will also be expected to complete daily reading and TTRS practice. Children will also get spellings weekly.
